Kim Gunning, MA
Kim specializes in executive and team coaching. Kim’s work focuses on improving performance by helping leaders and groups to integrate personal reflection and strategic thinking in their practice. She is known for her ability to apply candor, humour and skill when establishing effective rapport with others and identifying key needs and underlying issues in organizations. She brings over 20 years of experience in teaching, coaching, leadership and organizational development to her work with people in organizations. Her experience as a participant on volunteer Boards and workplace committees and a leader of large groups has generated a rich and diverse knowledge base that she shares enthusiastically with others.
Kim Gunning is an associate faculty member in the Master of Arts in Leadership and Training program at Royal Roads University as well as the MBA. The focus of her teaching is learning, conflict resolution and organizational change. The goal of these programs is to help people develop the competencies required to lead organizations through dramatic and chaotic change. Kim’s ability to blend the dynamics of theory and practice when she works with people experiencing significant change makes her a valuable resource to all organizations.
Kim holds a Master’s of Arts degree from the Leadership and Learning Division of Royal Roads University. She has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and has completed extensive postgraduate work in Adult Education. She is a trainer in the Facilitative Leadership Program, teaching creative leadership strategies to novice leaders.
