Geoff brings to SHIFT ten years of business experience in financial services and marketing strategy. Most recently he worked for three years with investment bank Morgan Stanley, as an institutional salesperson on the firm’s Fixed Income trading floor in London, England. Prior to this he spent seven years in the advertising industry in Vancouver, delivering brand campaigns for General Motors, Labatt Breweries, Telus and others.
He has worked in a range of corporate environments and has first-hand experience with many different company cultures, teams, leadership styles, and values. He has performed as a leader and as team member in a multitude of environments and brings an understanding of real workplace issues to his work with our clients. Geoff is also an avid traveller, and has spent considerable time exploring South East Asia, Europe, Central America, India and Africa.
Geoff Scales earned his MBA from the London Business School in 2002, and his B.Comm. from UBC in 1992.
